Savin Engineers is providing on-call construction inspection services for various projects throughout Nassau County. Specific assignments include the Grand Avenue resurfacing and Post Avenue drain pipes which included the following tasks:
• Inspected the milling and full asphalt restoration of roads spanning approxi-mately 5 miles and subsequent re-striping.
• Inspected the installation of 36” drain pipes and connection to culverts on Post Avenue.
• Performed structural concrete air, slump and temperature tests, as well as created cylinders for lab compaction testing to assure concrete was compli-ant to code.
