Savin Engineers, P.C. performed structural design and construction phase services for this new wastewater pumping facility. Built almost entirely in hard gneiss, this reinforced concrete structure required careful blasting procedures due to the proximity of local residents and a local school. Underground and overhead utilities had to be maintained throughout construction and protected at all times.
Savin performed shop drawing review services for all civil/sitework including sheeting/excavation, dewatering, concrete mix designs, rebar layout, structural steel and miscellaneous metals. Savin also handled modifications during construction, due to changed conditions or owner preferences.
