Savin has consistently provided regulatory services to comply with New York State Commissioner of Education Regulations Part 155 for this 1931 K—8 school building comprised of 108,400 square feet. Additionally, Savin has provided design and management services for an array of infrastructure projects including structural, mechanical and electrical.

To supplement a capital project plan, the District initiated an energy performance project. The project investigated opportunities with electrical and mechanical upgrades along with improvements to the building envelope. Sustainable energy is a prime objective of the initiative.

Savin led the process in initiating request for proposals, analyzing the proposals and recommending an appropriate energy performance contractor. The project includes lighting replacement, lighting controls, boiler replacement, boiler controls and weatherization.
