Jersey City Housing Authority EPC
Savin Engineers provided professional engineering services for the production of three (3) separate bidding document packages across seven (7) sites as part of its overall energy performance contract with Jersey City Housing Authority. The packages included: Lighting Conservation, Water Conservation and Heating & Cooling Optimization. Savin was responsible for incorporating the recommended energy efficient strategies and equipment into proper contract drawings and specifications for public bidding. The documents were constructed to be complete and stand-alone in nature, as well as written as to minimize discrepancies in the field. The lighting package included the replacement of lamps, ballasts and fixtures for exterior lighting and all tenant /common areas. The plumbing package included the replacement of all tenant water closets, showerheads, sink aerators, steam traps and installation of new thermostatic radiator control valves. |
