Rochester City School District
In a joint engagement with Gilbane Building Company, Savin educational team personnel is providing Program Management and Planning services to the Rochester Joint Schools Construction Board (RJSCB) to implement the first of a three-phase, $1.2 billion facilities modernization program established in 2007 to improve the City of Rochester’s fifty-one school buildings. The legislation allows for up to 13 projects and a total cost not to exceed $325 million for Phase 1.
A key component of Phase 1 scope of work was the requirement to develop a comprehensive, long-range, master plan. This was crucial to the program because before formal selection of any projects could occur, the approval of a master facilities modernization plan by the NY State Comptroller and the NY State Education Department was required by legislation. |
