Ashburton Pump Station
The Department of Public Works, Bureau of Water & Wastewater requested that the City of Baltimore perform a study of the City of Baltimore's Ashburton Pump Station. One of the city's approximate 2,000 pump stations, this facility had, in recent years, been showing some signs of serious deterioration. The scope of work for this $30 million rehabilitation project focused on structural design options for this facility's main pumping station sub-structure, superstructure, numerous valve chambers and other miscellaneous structural elements. |
