Savin Engineers' knowledge of, and past experience working with the New York Offices of General Services (OGS) played favorably in the entity's decision to engage Savin Engineers for a project at the Manhattan Psychiatric Center, a mental healthcare facility located at 125th Street in New York City providing both inpatient and outpatient services.

The scope of services performed by personnel from our Field Services team included conducting internal CCTV (closed circuit television) inspections of the facility's approximate 5,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer, inspections of manholes, and sewer cleaning. The challenge for Savin Engineers personnel on this project was the scheduling of the work at this high-security, active facility. To ensure that the work would be conducted with minimal inconvenience to the patients and staff and completed on time, Savin personnel worked closely with facility staff to establishing rigorous procedures for entering and exiting the grounds on a daily basis, and implementing and maintaining stringent procedures to ensure the safety of all parties. Savin's extensive experience in planning and working in active environments contributed to the success of this project for the New York State Office of General Services.
