Savin Engineers has assisted the Hempstead Public Schools with their facilities needs and mandates for 10 years providing a full-range of services including planning, pre-referendum, referendum, pre-construction, construction and closeout services. Savin also managed the work for a $33 million Health & Safety QZAB Bond.

The scope of work included reconstruction of the exterior facades of select buildings, replacement of roofs, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades, HVAC work and interior renovations of existing space. Savin coordinated the schedules and work of 34 prime contractors working in 8 school buildings. The work was completed six months ahead of schedule.
