Savin conducted field investigations for the design phase of this CSO abatement program. The reconnaissance consisted of inspection of regulator and tide chambers, Verification of dimensions of the chambers, sewer mapping, and manhole inspection. We also conducted extensive reconnaissance of the combined sewer system and overflow points. Based on the Engineer’s evaluation, Savin installed flow monitors at 10 key locations to monitor in-line storage capacity and quantify combined sewer overflow.
