As part of a facility-wide infrastructure upgrade, Savin conducted internal CCTV inspection of approximately 30,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer and 150 manholes. The intent was to identify physical defects such as broken and crushed sewer that should be rehabilitated during the upgrade, and to identify sewers with inadequate hydraulic capacity due to undersizing or debris accumulation. Any accumulated debris that was found during the inspection was removed with a vacuum truck and disposed in accordance with existing regulations.
The entire inspection process was conducted when the campus was fully occupied. Careful coordination with the facility operator was required to ensure that normal operations were not disturbed.
