Savin is working with Metcalf & Eddy (the Program Manager) on the City of Baltimore, MD Wet Weather Compliance and CSO/SSO Control Program.

Savin is conducting field investigations in 350,000 linear feet of sewer in the Western Run Area. Our tasks include smoke testing, manhole inspection, dyed water testing, and dyed water flooding. CCTV is scheduled to begin shortly.

During the fall of 2004, Savin conducted smoke testing in 115,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer to locate sources of inflow. The process was documented with still photos and video was recorded on DVD’s. Savin also conducted intensive inspections in 750 manholes. Dyed water testing and flooding at 150 locations will continue in the spring of 2005. CCTV inspection in the entire pilot area is also scheduled for the spring of 2005.
